We want to thank you for your ongoing support and patience during this time while we make plans to protect you and your families as well as our staff and other guests.
As many of you know we have been continuously monitoring the current COVID-19 pandemic situation as it unfolds and discussing what this would mean for our beloved Kirkwood and all those involved.
At Kirkwood, the health and safety of our staff and guests are our number one priority. To help protect our staff, guests, volunteers, and the public against the spread of COVID-19, and in alignment with recommendations from Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Health Director Amy Acton, Matthew 25: Ministries and Kirkwood has made the difficult decision to cancel all camps, retreats, events and any services that may have normally been provided to the general public, until Sept 1st 2020.
Everyone who has already confirmed dates or has a contract in place in where a deposit was made, will receive a full refund. Refunds will be made in the format of a check and mailed to the contact person/entity listed on the contract, please know that this process could take up to 30 days to process refunds. We thank you in advance for your patience.
ABC CAMPERS: We will miss you dearly! Our leadership is making alternative plans for this year’s camp so please be on the lookout for that communication. Campers that have already registered and paid for camp will receive a refund as well. Currently we are encouraging you to continue to register your child for camp in their age group so that we can use this information in our planning for an alternative experience this summer. You do not need to pay when you register your camper. Please reach out to Pam if you have any questions about this but know that we are still in the planning phase and may not have answers for everything. Thank you for your continued support of our summer camp programs.
Reservations for the fall are still being accepted with the knowledge that our plans could change to continue to protect staff and guests. Please reach out to Pam if you are interested in our fall reservations (please note, we will not be able to give tours of the facility until Sept. 1st).
Please know that we have come to this decision with great consideration and thought with keeping the safety of everyone in mind, thank you for understanding.
Everyone at Kirkwood looks forward to seeing you sometime in the future and being able to say hello to you at camp; where friendships are made, lives are changed and many awesome experiences happen that create memories that we will hold dear to us for years to come.
Our camp staff says a big HELLO to everyone! And wants to remind you to find some fun in each day!
Take Care,
Your friends at Kirkwood
