At the end of September Lt. Governor Husted announced an opportunity for Ohioans who are low income, partially unemployed, or totally unemployed to earn tech-focused credentials at no cost. The Individual Microcredential Assistance Program (IMAP) program reimburses the 12 eligible training providers for each IMAP credential earned by Ohioans.
These providers offer a total of 71 different credential programs and 55 of these can be completed online, meaning they can be completed anywhere in Ohio. We encourage you to share this opportunity with those in your community so more Ohioans can earn the skills needed to succeed in the tech-infused economy. The 12 eligible providers and 71 eligible credentials can be found at IMAP.Development.Ohio.gov.
