Education and Training Working Group

The purpose of the Education and Training Working Group is to identify skills that employers state are lacking in recruits and current employees. Areas identified will be soft, hard, and technical skills. A list of workshops will be maintained utilizing current and new as needs are identified dependent on audience views: students, transitional, and retention. This working group will also look into credentials that are needed by our employer base to find providers to deliver training.

OUR PROJECTS:

Power Skills Workshops

Identify the soft skills lacking in our workforce and assimilate workshops to tackle the issues. Maintain a list of available workshops in The Resource Guide

Industrial and Technical Training

Through utilization of the Resource Guide, identify credentials that will assist our employers with the availability of hiring individuals with the necessary skills to build a better workforce.
